Loved by the twin Alphas

Chapter 1

Alexia regretted coming to the school cafeteria to eat, just like always. There were a thousand isolated places around the school for her to curl into and hurriedly eat her lunch, but her sister, Kayla would never let her be.

Kayla's wolf was sharp and had very keen senses, just like the other wolves of their pack, so she could easily find Alexia no matter where she hid. She took sickening pleasure in bullying her, not just in private, but with an audience to make the humiliation more potent.

And Alexia was too weak, helpless and pathetic to change the situation. So she just gave up on trying to avoid it, and began to come to the cafeteria to have lunch again. Even if it meant being turned into a clown for the entertainment of the entire school.

Just like she was now.

She shakily raised her fork to her mouth but a loud bang rocked her table, and she ended up spilling the food over her shirt.

Laughter erupted.

Swallowing down a tired sigh, Alexia brushed off the mess from her shirt but it was no use. An oily stain had already ruined the fabric, making her look more pathetic than she already did. Her stomach was rumbling with hunger, yet her tongue felt heavy.

She had lost her appetite.

"That ugly color suits her, don't you think, Kayla?"

A sickening feminine voice asked in amusement, and Alexia did not have to look up to know that it was one of Kayla's many admirers and followers.

Kayla was standing right in front of the table, her arms crossed under her barely covered breasts, as she glared down at her sister with a wicked smirk.

"No color suits her. Not even that ugly stain on her shirt. As a matter of fact, she is a stain to my family. A fucking freak."

She spat.

Degrading laughs and taunts followed, showing that the crowd would agree with anything Kayla said.

A male voice called out,

"I bet you would make a stain look amazing, Kayla!"

"How do you even cope with having a worthless freak for a sister?"

More words were thrown like blazing hot rocks at Alexia, and she merely kept her head down, trying to shrink into herself. Meanwhile Kayla was smiling with pleasure, as the others booster her pride and who with their words.

She wanted to get a reaction out of Alexia, but she was just not getting it. So, she slammed her hand on the table, and snapped,

"Don't you have anything to say to defend yourself? I remember when you used to whine and try to stand up against me."

She let out a loud laugh

"Why did you suddenly stop? Did you finally learn your lesson? Did you finally understand that the both of us are not equals? Huh? Answer me, you freak!"

Alexia remained mute, causing Kayla to look like a fool talking to herself. She smiled slowly, her voice lowering into a threat,

"Oh? You won't talk? It's fine, sister. Let me just wash off that ugly stain for you."

She grabbed the can of soda on the table, twisted it open and turned it upside down in Alexia's head, dunking all of the liquid all over her.

Alexia gasped in shock, shifting on her seat as she tried to avoid the soda but humiliation and shock had her frozen. Loud laughs and hoots of encouragement rose from the crowd watching, as they found her humiliation very entertaining.

Kayla shook the can to make sure every drop had fallen on Alexia's head, before she tossed the can sideways with a triumphant grin,

"There. All clean."

Her friends laughed along with her, while Alexia shakily tried to wipe the soda from her drenched face, trying to hold back the tears about to burst from her eyes. But she was failing.

As her fingers tried to peel her wet shirt away from her skin, she felt the incredible sadness and heavy sobs clawing up her throat. But she knew she could not let herself cry in front of Kayla and the rest of the school. That was exactly what they wanted, and crying would only get them more excited.

How could her own sister do this?

The bullying, usually led by Kayla, or sometimes orchestrated by other students, became a daily occurrence in her life since the day her father, the beta of their pack, learnt that she could not shift into her wolf like her other mates could. That had earned her so much hate and contempt from the pack, that she had become an outcast.

In her family. In school. Everyone took any opportunities they found to run her to the ground. Kayla, her sister, made sure of it.

After all, she was the star of the family. The perfect daughter. An all-rounder.

Beautiful, with long platinum locks that ran down her attractive body like a waterfall. Even her wolf had the most beautiful white fur in the pack. She was popular among members of the pack, and in school. Friends flocked to her to do her bidding. And to crown it all off, she was dating the notoriously gorgeous Alpha twins of the pack.

Compared to Kayla, Alexia was nothing.

And she knew that. She just wished they did not add to her pain by constantly bullying her. Was that too much to ask for?

"Huh? Look, is that freak crying?"

Someone suddenly noticed the tears gathering in Alexia's eyes, as she sat in her chair, soaked in soda.

Kayla's blue eyes lit up in satisfaction as she inched closer, bending down to get a proper look at her sister's face, but Alexia shot out of her chair and ran in the opposite direction, leaving a trail of soda behind her.

"That's right, freak. Run and hide, that's the only thing you can do anyway!"

Kayla sneered after her, and after her words came the sound of laughter, haunting Alexia she took the last step out of the cafeteria.

Alexia was partly blind as she hurried through the hallways, dodging people who gave her weird and hostile stares. Her heart was pounding so hard it actually hurt, and she was sobbing into her hands, eyes burning with tears.

When she slammed into a restroom, she was glad to find it completely empty, so she collapsed against the wall and slid to the floor. Her crying and sniffing was the only sound echoing off the tiled walls as she hid her head down into her knees.

She remained in that position for what felt like hours, when it had only, in fact, been just a few minutes.

Her strength was sapped, and no more tears were left in her reddened and puffy eyes to continue crying. So she slowly got up from the floor and stared at her pathetic reflection in the mirror. She almost physically winced at how terrible she looked.

Her wavy red hair now hung in ugly and wet dark strings down her head, like an old mop. Her shirt was stained, drenched and discolored. And her green eyes looked dull, swollen and dead. Even her tan skin had taken on a patchy, pale undertone, while the area around her eyes were red from her prolonged crying.

A complete mess.

Sniffing, she lowered her head into the sink and ran the faucet so the water could rinse the soda out of her hair. As she mechanically cleaned herself up, that sadness she felt evened out into the emptiness she was more used to.

After all, she had faced things much worse than a school humiliation. Her father had already deprived her of all of her rights, so many of that able-bodied wolves of the pack had turned her into their punching bag.

She rinsed her hair out and dried it with a towel, before loosening the hoodie tied around her waist. Thankfully, it was dry, as her hair, head and shirt took most of the soda. Slowly, she took off her shirt, trying to ignore the fading red bruise on her arm where a wolf had pushed her sometime back.

At least it was fading fast, and the pain from the bruise was already gone.

She threw the shirt into the trash, since it was permanently discolored, and put on the hoodie instead, pulling the hood to cover her head.

Finally feeling a little more presentable, Alexia looked back at her reflection. Her face was in the cocoon the large hoodie provided, but her eyes remained dull and hopeless. After all, her life was worthless, and had no meaning if she could not shift into her wolf.

Every other person in the school was a strong, full-fledged wolf, that made her the weakest. The freak, like everyone called her. Unequal, among her mates. It made her a stain against the reputation of her family. It made her disappointed who no one wanted to associate with.

It made her so sad, so miserable. So lonely.

That made her, the outcast.

Chapter 2

It was finally the end of school for the day, and Alexia slowly trudged behind the crowd rushing down the hallway. She could understand why anyone would want to leave this hellhole disguised as a school, but what she could not understand, is why they all seemed so eager to go home.

Her home was another nightmare. She was constantly reminded of what a failure she was, but then again, everyone was not her.

Sighing softly, she shrank deeper into her hoodie, clutching her bag tighter as she moved forward. A group of jocks barreled from behind, headed for the parking lot where most of the students were heading to as well, yelling and being as loud as possible.

"Fuck it, we're going to miss the games!"

"Hell no, not on my watch! Fucking get out of our way!"

They were shoving their way through the crowd to get outside the building as fast as possible. Alexia instinctively moved away from their voices, trying to give as much space as possible so they could pass through.

But it was worthless. One of the jocks grabbed her arm and shoved her to the side so hard, she lost her balance and slammed into the wall sideways. And so hard, her breath left her instantly. She gasped in pain, almost tripping to the floor.

"Are you deaf, freak? Get out of the fucking way!"

A male voice yelled at her, making her flinch.

Another voice added spitefully,

"You should have pushed her harder, breaking a bone or two. Wonder why she fucking attends the same school as us when she can't even protect herself. Weak little bitch."

Alexia was too scared to look up at them, she just stayed trembling against the wall, staring at her feet. Thankfully, another one of the jocks who sounded like he could not waste a second on her, called out,

"There's no fucking time for that now, guys. Let's go or I'm fucking taking the car leaving your asses!"

"Yo, wait up, man!"

They turned and hurried off, leaving Alexia sagging with deepfelt relief. When their pounding footsteps retreated, she straightened back up and massaged her arm which took the hit against the wall. It throbbed slightly, but it was something that would stop to hurt in an hour or so.

She continued on her way till she was outside. As if her troubles were not enough, she came face to face with Kayla and a group of three girls while they chattered and sashayed towards the parking lot. Her and her sister's eyes met, and they all went quiet.

Alexia tried to turn away and walk in another direction, but Kayla stepped in front of her, titling her head sideways with a taunting smile,

"Are you done crying yet, Alexia? Or do you need me to give you something more to cry about?"

Her voice was timid when she responded,

"Just leave me alone, Kayla."

Kayla's friends sniggered among themselves, exchanging comments on how weak, miserable and pathetic Alexia sounded. She ignored them and try to walk away again, but Kayla blocked her.

The smile on her face grew bigger,

"Sure, I'll leave you alone to walk home as usual, sister. I know you have always smelled hard, but I do hope your hair does not smell even worse from the soda."

Kayla giggled and walked away, followed by her laughing minions. Alexia closed her eyes, sucked in a deep breath, and continued walking. She had not even gone five steps when there was a screech of tires behind her, and Kayla's car zoomed past, in a cloud of dust and almost running her over.

In a surge of fear, Alexia skidded sideways, gasping, while laughter echoed from the car. Kayla stuck her head out, hair flying in the wind while she yelled,

"I could have smashed your legs, freak! You might not get so lucky next time!"

Her head went back in and she stepped up on the accelerator, making the tires spin and lurch the car forward. Leaving Alexia standing and coughing in a cloud of dust and white tire smoke.

She waved her hand in front of her face, walking forward till the dust cleared up and she could breathe clearly again. This was not the first time of her being left stranded at school by her sister, so she had eventually fashioned out a route which she could take home.

And that was the route she was taking now. It would take her longer to get home, than if she was in a car, but at least it was quiet, and she could have enough time to her own thoughts without interruptions from anyone.

As she turned into a path that led through the woods, she inhaled the scent of nature, smiling slightly to herself, but then, she heard a rustle come from somewhere behind her.

Her peaceful walk was ruined by sudden fear when she looked back at the deserted path and did not see anything. Only the huge, dark woods loomed at either side of her. Her green eyes looked around, but after finding nothing, she assumed that it was nothing.

So she turned back forward and continued on her way, only to hear a deep, dark and dangerous growl that seemed to rip through the heart of the woods to strike terror into the most hidden part of her soul.

Alexia froze, eyes going wide in shock and fear. What in the world was that, She panicked, as more rustles came from behind her.

The growl got even more deadly, and she stumbled around, only to see a large, monstrous looking wolf with glistening dark fur stepping out of the woods with it's devilish fangs beared at her. Her mouth dropped, as it stalked closer, it's strong, muscled form rippling as it got closer, silver eyes filled with every intention of attacking.

Her mind was wiped clean of all sanity, as primal fear rippling through her. And she screamed, turning around to run down the path. Running away from such a large wolf was a bad idea, but she had no other option, anywhere was safe from something like that.

Especially if she had no way of defending herself.

She heard the bloodthirsty growls getting closer and closer from behind her as it chased after her. It was so close behind that she could almost feel it's sharp fangs in her neck.

She was screaming, running and glancing back so much, that she almost didn't see the tall, broad and dark figure that suddenly stepped out of the woods to block the path in front of her. The sudden and calculative appearance of the figure startled the hell out of her, and she let out a screech and tried to change directions, but tripped against a fallen log.

She crashed into the tangle of leaves and plants on the side of the path, and the large black wolf pounced on her, ready to maul her to death.

"No, please! Help! Someone help!"

She shrieked at the top of her lungs, desperately trying to get away, but the wolf had pinned her down with it's large, sharp claws almost digging into her neck. But then, in her haze of fear, she had realized that the wolf had paused.

Even it's terrifying growls had ceased.

It's weight was pressing her down, and now that it was right on top of her, she had realized just how massive the wolf was. The biggest wolf she had ever seen in her life. And now, it was about to kill her.

Only, she should be dead by now if it really wanted to kill her, like it wanted a few seconds ago.

But now, as she panted heavily, trembling in fright, she could see the silver eyes staring intently at her from that mass of glistening black fur. Then, the most unexpected thing happened.

The wolf moved back, away from her. It still loomed threateningly by her, but her frightened eyes flew to the left when she heard strong footsteps pounding towards her.

"Why the fuck did you stop, Miles? Kill that rogue. Or fuck it, I'll end her myself."

It was a male voice, that was so deep that it gave Alexia shivers right there. Asides from the danger, ruthlessness and raw masculinity in that voice, her heart dropped in abject dread, because she knew that whoever it was… he was coming to kill her.

He sounded so bloodthirsty that she could feel her own pulse almost explode in fear.

She scrambled up to her elbows, trying to get into a kneeling position to beg for her life, but a growl from the wolf froze her in place. That was when her desperate eyes fell on the man approaching her with every intention to end her life.

He was like a tower of flesh and muscle, broad and stallion-like, messy dark hair, bronze skin, and a ruthless expression on his chiselled face. An archangel of death. But what scared her the most?

His beautiful golden eyes, that struck primal fear right into her soul.

Chapter 3

Alexia was dead sure the golden eyed man was going to kill her, since the silver eyed wolf did not, but immediately he got right in front of her, the harsh expression on his face faded.

He stood over her, where she was on the floor, looking down at her from his incredible height, as she was completely at their mercy. But he made no move to kill her as he had said seconds ago.

A small breath escaped her, as she stared at both of them in fright and confusion. What was going on?

"You're not a rogue."

The golden eyed man said to her, his eyes narrowing even further.

She nodded quickly, almost too stunned to speak. Tears had almost gathered in her eyes that he had realized she was not a threat like they had probably thought, hence they had tried to kill her.

He looked back at his brother in his wolf form, and dropped the clothes on his fist on the ground. The wolf picked it up and moved into the woods. There was a couple of loud curses and cracks of form shifting that sent a flock of scared birds taking flight into the air.

Before the sounds of footsteps emerged from within the woods. Alexia stared with a hand on her chest, afraid of what was going to come out of there, but when her eyes rested on the male figure stepping out of the woods, her lips parted in shock.

It was almost like a carbon copy of the golden eyed man. The same towering height, strong, broad shoulders and natural tan skin. The same jet messy black hair, except that his was an inch shorter, but there was something noticeably different.

His eyes glowed silver. Shiny, beautiful silver, just like his devilish wolf.

And he had black cargo pants on, with black boots, but his shirt was unbottened, revealing the ladders of ripped abs lining his torso.

Alexia was dumbstruck as her wide eyes moved back to the gold eyed one, then back to the silver eyed one. Twins, she realized.

Their male beauty was so jaw dropping that her initial fear had turned into something else that had made her voice flee from her throat. Then she remembered that the gold eyed one had called the other man, Miles.

Miles. The name sounded familiar.

He came up to stand beside his brother, and said,

"I was just about to rip her throat out when I got the pack's scent on her. She does not have an individual scent, so I have no fucking idea what she's supposed to be, Micheal."

Michael. Miles.

Alexia gasped, when it suddenly hit her. The twin Alphas of the pack! She had never seen them before, as she was always locked indoors because of how much of a disgrace she was to the family, that is why she could not recognize them or their wolves.

But it was them. And they had nearly killed her?

"Alphas, I am from your pack! I am not a rogue, please. I always passby this path on my way back from school! My father is Beta Raymond!"

She exclaimed desperately, scrambled up from the floor. Even standing at her full height, her head barely reached their chests.

Micheal and Miles exchanged looks, and Micheal stepped forward with a warning shining on his golden eyes.

"Don't you fucking lie. How come we have never seen you before?"

Miles crossed his arms, making his biceps flex,

"And why do you fucking have no scent?"

Alexia was desperate to explain herself, but it was difficult to do so with two powerful Alphas looming over her, with the strength and ability to break her into halves or rip her into shreds if she lied.

She stuttered, then remembered that her sister was dating the twin Alphas. She hated having to mention Kayla, because of all the pain she had put her through, but now it was necessary.

That would be the only thing they would believe.

"I am your girlfriend's sister." She said. "Kayla's older sister."

The expressions on their handsome faces changed simultaneously at those words. Miles stepped forward, eyes dead serious,

"What did you just say?"

Alexia said again,

"My name is Alexia. My father is Raymond, and I'm Kayla's sister. I'm just trying to get home."

Miles was not having it. His tone grew disbelieving,

"Do you think you can just fool us by mentioning a few names—?"

"She's not lying."

Michael suddenly said, staring intently at Alexia. He was a pro at reading people, knowing when they were lying or pretending, and he had seen the genuine honesty and fear in Alexia's body language.

Miles turned to look at him,

"How did we not fucking know that our girlfriend had a sister all these years? She is always talking about being an only daughter. I thought we fucking knew everything about Kayla?"

Micheal was appearing even angrier the more the seconds passed, as he wondered why their girlfriend would hide the fact that she had a sister away from them.

Why would she fucking lie?

"I'm fucking disappointed in her."

Micheal ground out, his eyes darkening. Miles had the same enraged expression on his face as well,

"For years since we've been dating, she's been fucking constantly keeping such a secret away from us? Does this mean she does not fucking trust us?"

Michael clenched his jaw,

"Well, I know for fucking sure that I don't trust her now. To think she's about to become our Luna soon, when she's not even transparent with us."

The anger radiated from them in waves, but Alexia managed to let out a sigh of relief when she saw that they had finally believed her. But it was scary having to stand close to two enraged Alphas.

She could not bear to imagine what Kayla's next move would be against her once she finds out that she had exposed her lie to her boyfriends.

But for now, she was just glad that she had not been killed for nothing. And Kayla must have kept her existence a secret from them because she was a freak, and a disgrace to the family.

People in the pack only knew her because she only stepped out of the house to go to school, if not for that, no body would even know of her existence.

Her father had lost all hope and love for her, so her home had become her prison. Well, she was more than glad to be returning to that prison now, after having such a close call with death with the dangerous twin Alphas.

"We'll take you home."

Miles said. It was not an offer, so even if I would rather return home alone, I said nothing, scared I would make them transfer their rage at Kayla over to me.

Micheal started to walk down the path, and I tried to follow, but my legs were shaking from the leftover adrenaline that had been pumping my veins filled from the horrifying scare I had earlier. Miles paused and looked me up and down,

"Did I hurt your legs?"

"N-no…"

My tiny stutter was cut off when he bent to sweep me off my feet and into his arms. It was so unexpected that a shocked and flustered blush covered my face immediately.

His silver eyes saw my reaction, but he made no comment. He began to walk on the path, with Micheal in front. They were fast, because in the time I was furiously blushing as my body pressed against Miles' warm chest and breathed in his male scent, we had already reached my house.

Micheal paused in front, and turned back to glance at me in his brother's arms,

"We're here."

Miles gently placed me back on my feet, and I whispered a tiny thank you, trying to hide my blushing face inside my hoodie. Without looking back at any of them, I practically flew up the stairs to the front porch and hurried inside, leaning back against the door.

The house was dim, meaning there was no one at home, but even through the door, I could still feel their beautiful gazes on me.

Quickly, I leaned off the door and went and collapse on a couch, barely able to accept what just happened. The Twin Alphas nearly killed me thinking I was a rogue. Then, they brought me home.

What?

And I spent the entire time in Miles' strong arms. It was unbelievable, that I, the freak would ever cross paths with the Alphas. My widened eyes stared at my legs which were still trembling.

But for an entirely different reason.

Micheal and Miles stared at the house Alexia went into, for a moment, before Miles shook his head,

"She really is Kayla's sister."

Micheal dug his hands into his pockets, stepping back,

"We'll confront her about it when we see her."

Almost coincidentally, Michael's phone began to ring, snagging Miles attention.

He both looked in Michael's direction, to see him sliding out a phone from his pocket. He glanced at the screen to see that the caller ID said Ciara.

He picked up,

"Yes?"

"Alpha."

She spoke up, her voice tight with control. Whenever she sounded like that, Michael knew that she was severely pissed off by something or someone. In this case, it was someone, according to her next words,

"Kayla is here, and she is in a severe tantrum. That has caused your younger sister to get into an argument with her, and now it's getting so out of control that Kayla is about to get into a fist fight with Jenna."

Micheal closed his eyes briefly, even more pissed off than he was before.

Brushing his hair back, he listened to the next words Ciara uttered,

"It is not my place to get involved, Alpha. Do I interfere, with your permission?"

"Prevent a fist fight from happening, but don't make any comment on whatever they're fighting about. We'll be there soon."

He said, and hung up.

Miles scoffed from behind,

"Let me guess, Kayla is causing another tantrum again."

"Yeah. Let's head home fast. This is our chance to also ask her about Alexia."

They headed home, and when they got there, they found the living room in disarray. Ciara was there, trying to shield Jenna back, while Kayla stood opposite them, her hair flying in an unusually messy fashion, and her blue eyes wide with anger.

"What the fuck is going on here?"

Micheal asked, his voice deep with disapproval.

Miles looked around the living room again, and arched an eyebrow,

"Don't fucking tell me you girls were throwing things around at each other. Ciara, under your watch?"

Ciara responded,

"Alpha, I tried my best. Kayla was trying to start a fist fight, when I prevented it from happening, she resorted to throwing things at Jenna."

"What?"

Miles snapped.

"No! Why are you fucking twisting everything around, huh? You bitch, are you taking Jenna's side? Are you trying to pin all of this on me?"

Kayla yelled.

Jenna exclaimed,

"That's your exact problem, Kayla. No body is trying to pin anything on you, because you really did all of this! You have been itching to fight me, haven't you? Why are you pretending to be a saint because the Alphas are here?"

Kayla gasped, looking over at her boyfriends.

"Babes, there's a reason for this. It was Jenna, she tried to stop me from coming into the house!"

"What? Why would you do that, Jenna?"

Michael asked.

Jenna rolled her eyes,

"Please. She's throwing a tantrum over nothing. I took a little too long to answer the door because I was in the bathroom, and Ciara was not in the house, and when she finally came in, she attacked me, accusing me of being jealous because she snatched your attentions away from me!"
